What Does "Climate Positive" Mean?

Climate Positive means going a step further to actively benefit the planet. To achieve Ekos Climate Positive certification, a business must offset at least 120% of its total emissions.

Thankyou Payroll has maintained their Climate Positive certification since 2017. This isn't just a greenwashing trend for us. It's part of our DNA.

Where Do You Offset Emissions?

Our carbon credits for the 24/25 measurement period were invested in Waimea Reporoa Arahura Valley Project on the West Coast of New Zealand.

Each year we provide our team with our list of options, who collectively make a decision on where to invest our carbon credits. This project was chosen as it balanced our sustainability and Te Tiriti commitments.

Thankyou Payroll's Emission Profile

In the 2024/2025 financial year, Thankyou Payroll produced 22.33 tonnes of carbon emissions. We offset a total of 27 tonnes of carbon through the Waimea Reporoa Arahura Valley Project.
